Summary:
The Customer Service Representative will interact with the company's customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints in the Service Department.

Handle customer complaints by providing solutions, often within a time limit to ensure the customer is satisfied.
Learn to identify customer needs or desires to recommend the appropriate product or service.
Learn the software systems used by the company to be able to communicate effectively with incoming inquiries.
Keep a record of incoming inquiries to be able to reference later and update the company database by inputting information from each call and keeping every customer field current.
Be able to process orders, forms, applications, or requests.
Work with colleagues when necessary to resolve customer complaints.
Provide feedback to other departments to help improve sales, marketing, and business processes.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop efficient methods for handling issues with larger revenue customers.
Learn about the products inside and out to be able to answer any questions from customers.
Communication skills including a pleasant demeanor and ability to work with multiple personalities.
Attention to detail to be able to provide written communication to customers free of spelling or grammatical errors.
Ability to stay calm in an intense environment.
Ability to multitask since some tasks will require a Customer Service Representative to communicate with multiple customers at one time.
Monitor the customer satisfaction levels and develop methods for increasing them.
Strong organizational skills to be able to keep up with various customer needs and conduct follow-ups in a timely manner.
Adaptability and flexibility in order to deal with different customers and needs in a short period of time.
Leadership skills including being able to help, lead or manage a team of other Customer Service Representatives Work on special short-term projects to offer customized support for new products or products at end-of-life.
Dispatch technicians based on the location, appliances, fees, and type of issue and /or create service tickets.
Follow up to make sure tickets are closed and confirm status with customer.
Highlight lack of technicians in certain areas for service management to recruit one.
Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forward to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer's problems and concerns.
Review turnaround time and escalate to management.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication skills including active listening.
Appliance Service experience preferred.
Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word and Excel.
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma/GED required (College degree preferred) 2
years' experience in a customer service role Proficiency with MS Office Ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong sense of professionalism and discretion required Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
