9K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Alaris Health at Kearn, a 120 bed-skilled nursing Center in Kearny, New Jersey, seeks a housekeeping aide to ensure that the Center is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition at all times to provide for care and welfare of the residents in a healthful environment.
Additional responsibilities include:
following specific cleaning and service instructions and procedures in a safe manner completing all assignments scheduled in each unit and giving each unit the attention required to provide a sanitary, odor-free, orderly environment checking stock and notifying supervisor of supply needs maintaining equipment in good working condition and returning it to proper location after use and above all, ensuring that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school degree or equivalent is preferred Ability to perform essential job functions Must be able to read, write and understand the English language and follow oral and written instructions Possess working knowledge of standard materials, techniques and equipment used in cleaning activities Ability to positively interact with everyone from residents to government agencies and the general public.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
