Engineering Technician

Oishii is seeking an Engineering Technician to join us in growing the world's BEST tasting strawberries! As a part of the Engineering team, Engineering Technicians contribute to the development and production of our exceptional berries by supporting the build and development of Oishii's next generation indoor vertical farms.
You will be responsible for constructing, integrating, and commissioning new farm technology and systems to meet the ever changing optimization requirements.
You will work under the direction of an all-star engineering team on broad and diverse projects that span fluid, thermal, electromechanical and automation systems.
You will collaborate cross functionally with plant science, operations, and R&D staff to drive forward key initiatives.
As an Engineering Technician, you will:
Assemble, install and test prototypes of new farm technology in research facilities Fabricate, and deploy upgrades to existing production or research facilities Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or automation systems Create creative solutions to new problems that we encounter weekly Additional tasks as assigned.

years of relevant work experience HS Diploma or GED Comfortable with use of power tools Available on at least one weekend day per week Formal technical training and certifications (trade school, technical degree) Must have Driver's License Preferred
