Job
Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for programming, testing and implementing applications developed to support new business initiatives or to correct, or enhance, existing business applications.

Responsibilities:
Help create maps and workflows
Participate in the creation of processes for the EDI, TMS and YMS systems that support business operations and work flows
Assist in the management of interfaces within multiple custom-built applications
Collaborate with applications team to deliver solutions to mapping and workflow problems
Interface and provide support to all business areas to include Operations, Imports, Finance, Customer Service, External Clients and Trading Partners
First-level programming, testing or problem determination and resolution for the various business areas listed above
Design, code, test, and implement programming solutions based upon their own analysis or based upon direction from their Director
Serve as a go-to individual for all after-hours issues as identified by the Users
Perform trouble-shooting and investigation of business, data or technical issues as they might arise
Be able to estimate work efforts to help create Statements of Work
Bring a customer service oriented, positive attitude to all business user interactions
Develop documentation for business users and other programmers for each new or enhanced application they support
Report project status and issues to their Director as necessary
Approaches all tasks with a sense of urgency
Perform all other duties as required

Job Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technical certification or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of experience in EDI and Programming
Experience with database design, MS Access and Label design
Knowledge of TCP/IP Networks, BizManager/BizConnect, SFTP, SQL, TMS/WMS/YMS, Automation Anywhere, Mapping (GSX) and AS2
Familiarity with Transportation/Logistics industry
Must have excellent verbal communication, written communication, and social interaction skills Experience delivering solutions in a timely manner with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in the use of Windows based computers and software
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
