Production Supervisor

Then we'd like to meet you and bet you'd like to meet us. Ashland LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our Pharmaceutical group at our Kearny, NJ site. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the manufacturing function. This position will report to the Plant Manager. Description The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Directs the daily work flow of the second shift plant operations crew. Responsible for ensuring customer orders are produced according to schedule. This activity covers both the reactors and blend tanks. Acts as liaison between maintenance, production and quality and ensures that crews operate following all environmental, health and safety policies Ensure safe work environment for team members and contractors on site Implement and follow production planning and quality control systems in production. Collaborate with engineering teams staff to resolve production or processing issues Work to improve the effectiveness of daily operations  Develop and maintain Master Sanitation procedure/function Qualifications In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related degree required 5-10 years Operations supervision in Nutritional Supplement / Food Ingredients industry (preferred) Must be authorized to work in the United States The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit: Black Seal Boiler License MS Office experience Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Detail oriented and organized Work independently and in a team environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
